A Series of Unfortunate Events
haven’t recovered from the knee injury i got from the ski trip didn’t stop me from getting another crappy illness
just a week after i twisted my knee, blisters came out all over my bodies. i didn’t realize that it was chicken pox until the doctor confirmed it and told me to get away from pregnant women and those people who haven’t got chicken pox before because it is a highly contagious illness.
unfortunately, my gf who has been treating me and my knee hasn’t got this chicken pox before in her life. so i have to stay away from her and it was kind of hard since i have been practically staying at her place because my knee wouldn’t allow me to walk back home. luckily she has an empty room where i can barricade myself in there.
i didn’t understand at the time because i had chicken pox before back home when i was a kid and how i could get it again this time. so i did a little research and asked a few friends who might know what caused this silly little virus to infect me again. and i found out that once got infected, the virus is actually stay dormant or asleep in my nerve system and it can be reactivated if my body is not fit and my defense system is not strong enough. however, this rare second reactivation of chicken pox is not as devastated as the first one which is a good thing
oh well, get well soon NeDi…
