math
it’s monday night (or rather Tuesday early morning), yet it’s another boring night for me..
i’ve been watching tv series numb3rs this past couple of days. it’s really a great tv series where there is an FBI agent teamed up with his brother, a math genius, to solve criminal cases. one thing that i really like from this series is that they use and apply real math theory. theories like Bayes’ theorem and Dijkstra’s algorithm are actually real proven math theories. i have always been a fan of math so it really amaze me how those theories can really be applied to our lives.
back in my undergrad days, i always had some kind of arguments with eDo about the differences of math and physics. we (almost) always ended up telling each other how bad math or physics was hehe. he was really passionate about physics, and still is until today. omg, am i missing him right now? geezz.. >_<
anyway, temperature here in melbourne start declining. i don’t usually watch weather forecast but i know for sure that it starts declining only by looking at the windows in my apartment whenever i cook something. yap, the windows in my apartment start creating some dew whenever the room temperature is hotter than the outside’s temperature. and apparently, the heat from the stove can definitely warm the entire apartment. hm, maybe we don’t need any heater.. ;p

Ohohoho… did u start liking Math because of “Kak Jeff” ??? How’s he doing now? any news from him?
nope, Kak Jeff was only helping me get interesting exercises.. i have already fallen in love with math before i knew him..
